Acting
The Resistible rise of arturo ui
Directed by Isabella Chiam
This adaptation by Bruce Norris on Brecht's allegorical play about the rise of Hitler, highlight the parallels with Trump's rise to power. Personally, portraying both comic and serious characters was a welcome challenge, testing the range of my acting abilities developed throughout my time at LASALLE.

Greek Chronicles: Fragments
Directed by Alvin Chiam
Containing scenes from iconic Greek tragedies such as the Oresteia and Medea, this performance was an empowering experience. Performing in a classic Greek style pushed my physical and vocal boundaries, instrumental in my journey of developing presence on stage.

Cooling-Off Day
Directed by Pavan J Singh
This verbatim theatre piece by Alfian Sa'at reflects various Singaporeans' opinions regarding the 2012 General Elections. Embodying different characters that are essentially Singaporean and performing in my Mother Tongue for the first time reminded me the importance of telling local stories.

Death of Ash
Directed by Alvin Chiam
This ensemble-driven movement piece explores the corruptibility of humans, betraying those that they previously revered. As my first performance in LASALLE, it was an eye-opening experience, kickstarting my interest in physical theatre.
Creating
Singapore's Next Top Bird
Puppeteer, Playwright, Mentored by Benjamin Poh
Under the tutelage of renowned puppeteer Benjamin Poh from Paper Monkey Theatre, I was given an opportunity to create a performance for their 2023 No Strings Attached Puppetry Festival. Inspired to create a story about the uniqueness of birds which parallels the individuality of humans, I crafted puppets and and wrote out a story targeted towards children from scratch. This expanded my artistry, providing me the confidence to start creating work independently.

Reunion: A Storytelling Project
Co-director
Featuring actors sharing personal stories about their families, this performance encourages the audience to have genuine conversations with their family members. As a first-time director learning along the process, I primarily focused on the authenticity of the actors, shaping them to eventually tell their stories from the heart. This experience was invaluable as it inspired me to involve myself with more performance-making projects.
